Ventura Botanical Garden: Chilean Garden and Ramble

The Chilean Garden and Ramble - an exhibit of local plant communities - is the first phase of implementing the Ventura Botanical Garden’s 30 year master plan. Still in the early stages of schematic design, Spurlock has been working closely with VBG to collaborate on a design that will establish the garden’s presence in the region and beyond as an ecological destination. The site’s topography offers a challenging yet opportunistic set of problems that will allow for a truly unique botanical garden experience while providing picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and Ventura below.
