UCSD Ridge Walk Improvements

Ridge Walk is one of the primary non-vehicular circulation routes on the UCSD campus. With the addition of the North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood (NTPLLN), the north and south alignment of Ridge Walk will traverse five of the six colleges on west campus.

This important campus public realm project includes hardcape and landscape improvements for approximately 7.5 acres. Spurlock is working with the University Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) and working groups on a regular basis to improve wayfinding, incorporate both pedestrian and bicycle circulation, and provide restful and active open spaces to promote outdoor activities and to facilitate movement through the campus.

Construction for the first phase of the Ridge Walk Improvement project (from the north end of Revelle Plaza to the Main Gym) was completed in 2022.
