UCSD Health Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion

The Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion at UC San Diego houses the Disease Centers for Musculoskeletal Health, Breast Health, Urology, Pain, Apheresis and Stem Cell, with related services of imaging, rehabilitation, outpatient surgery and pharmacy. Spurlock's scope included joint design development for exterior on-structure landscape area for approximately 140,000 sf. Extensive pedestrian upgrades, drop-off and parking modifications, general landscape improvements, and intensive on-structure planting. The project is targeting a minimum rating of LEED Silver and outperformance of Title 24 energy requirements by 20%.
