UCSD Health East Campus Medical Office

The UCSD East Campus Medical Office Building is situated right at the seam of a rustic canyon habitat and the formal Health Sciences Scholar's Walk, and the design of the building and landscape provides the link between the two. Visible from interstate 5, this prominent and identifiable structure terminates the east campus today, and acts as a gateway from the west campus in the future. Equally important is its contribution to a significant organizing green space planned around the new Thornton Hospital Bed Tower expansion.
