San Bernardino Valley College Landscape Master Plan

The new Landscape Master Plan for San Bernardino Valley College sets the tone for both first-time, and daily experiences to support a culturally diverse community of learners and sense of belonging for your students, employees, and the community. In collaboration with NAC Architects, Spurlock developed the SBVC Landscape Master Plan as a strategic planning document to be used as a road map by SBVC leadership and future designers in guiding decision-making towards creating a vibrant, sustainable, and welcoming campus. Through extensive collaboration with SBVC students, faculty, and leadership, the planning team documented campus community goals and design principles with illustrated strategies for constructing future physical spaces, leveraging the many beautiful gardens and site assets existing on campus, as well as proposing new approaches to create an environmentally sensitive, inclusive, and functional open space network that can meet the needs of the growing campus community.
